Asylum Anguish: Stories from the Border

"Asylum Anguish: Stories from the Border" is a dramatic event that offers the stories from immigrants seeking asylum in the United States. Although the stories are true and shared by real immigrants, we have protected their privacy above all. THIS STAGED READING IS NOT APPROPRIATE FOR CHILDREN. We wish to acknowledge the contribution of Jane Page and Gavin Cameron-Webb who together wrote, directed and produced the performance. Thanks also to the actors from U.C. Irvine Drama Department for bringing their many talents to this dramatic reading. A special thanks to the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange, who provided their beautiful venue and catering services. Last of all, thanks to our Sponsor, Tapestry Unitarian Universalist Congregation, and our Affiliates (Irvine Unted Congregational Church, St. Mark Presbyterian Church, Orange County Friends Meeting (Quakers), Community Congregational United Church of Christ Los Alamitos) for their continuing support.
