Burn the Mortgage Donation

When we purchased our building in December 2017, the mortgage was $1,340,000. Through generous donations and regular loan payments, that amount is now $970,000. This has allowed us to reduce our monthly payment from $7,000 to $5,000, a savings of $24,000 a year.

The exciting news is that we currently have over $185,000 in savings and loan forgiveness available to buy down the mortgage on June 30. By raising an additional $15,000 to reach $200,000, we can further reduce our mortgage payments by $12,000 next year. If you have been considering donating to the “Burn the Mortgage“ fund, now is definitely the time!

Every dollar contributed permanently reduces our operating expenses. Any donation large or small that you can offer to this effort gets us that much closer to being debt free.

If you have any questions, please contact Julia Rampone, Lynn Cowan or Rev. Kent.
